Fishing with children in the Danube Delta

A child who catches their first fish never forgets the moment. At Holbina Trei Bibani, family fishing starts with the perch — the fish that also gave us our name. Big perch gather in schools in the private lakes, and perch sessions are fast, with frequent catches — exactly the right rhythm for the little ones.

The day starts with breakfast at the resort and boarding a modern, safe boat, driven by a guide who knows how to turn every cast into joy. Parents can fish for pike or catfish on the same outing, or simply enjoy the ride on the channels. Back at the resort, children have the pool, the green spaces and the kayaks, while you have the fresh fish restaurant and the terrace.

Safety comes first: protective equipment for water activities, clear rules and attentive guides. And our catch-and-release rules are a beautiful lesson in respect for nature: every fish caught is photographed and released safely.
