Autumn pike fishing in the Danube Delta
Until the end of summer, pike are hard to move from their shady spots. But when autumn comes and the Delta waters start to cool, everything changes: predators become active, they come out hunting in more open water, and fishing sessions take on a completely different rhythm.

At Holbina Trei Bibani, autumn is the season of big pike. The resort's private lakes, scattered over more than 1,200 hectares of wild nature, are stocked with pike that grow undisturbed all year — and in the cooler months they become far more willing to attack a lure. Days are shorter, channels quieter, and every cast can bring the catch of a lifetime.

What to bring: a strong rod, large lures — plugs, soft plastics or spoons — and clothes for cold mornings on the water. Fishing is done from the boat, with a maximum of 3 anglers, and our guides know on which pools the big pike come out each autumn week.

All catches are released safely, according to our rules: artificial lures only, at most one treble hook per lure, and handling with a landing net and an unhooking mat. The trophy stays in the photos, and the pike stays in the lake for the next true story.

Weekday fishing packages start at 2,500 lei/person for 3 days and include boat fishing, double room accommodation, full board and return transfer from Dunavatul de Jos.
