Cristi and Ralu visit Holbina Trei Bibani
Cristi and Ralu, one of the most-watched Romanian travel channels (347,000 subscribers), chose Holbina Trei Bibani as their base for a second visit to the Danube Delta. The resulting vlog gathered over 130,000 views within a few weeks of release, and a good part of it was filmed right at the resort and on the surrounding waters.

The day starts early, with breakfast served before boarding — roe, smoked carp roe and fish, dishes Cristi describes as his newly discovered passion in the Delta. The stay is run on a full-board basis, and the kitchen team was flexible with guest requests, preparing an alternative whenever the day's menu did not suit someone.

A whole segment is dedicated to the resort's boat fleet: boats with a regular engine, a thermal engine and a quieter one, designed specifically not to scare the fish once the guides reach the good fishing spots. During the same visit, the group took a boat ride of almost an hour to Gura Portitei, a route the vlog describes as "the Danube Delta safari", with flocks of pelicans spotted along the channel.

Another significant part of the filming was dedicated to a kayak trip through the narrow channels around the resort — areas a motorboat cannot enter because of the vegetation, but where a kayak glides easily among blooming water lilies and dense reeds, right at sunset. For those who had never paddled before, Holbina's guides gave a short lesson right on the water.

Back at the resort, the vlog also shows a tour of the accommodation: the room is described as simple, clean and comfortable, with well-placed air conditioning and everything needed for a quiet stay. When a minor internet connection issue came up, the Holbina team solved it quickly by providing a separate router for that room.

Of everything noted in the vlog, one observation comes up again and again: the privacy of the location. Cristi describes the resort as essentially isolated, surrounded only by water and reeds, with no neighbours and no noise — which is why he recommends it to anyone looking for a getaway far from crowds, with fishing, kayaking and boats just steps from their room.

Beyond fishing and accommodation, the vlog also shows the resort's other facilities: two pools (one for younger children and one for older kids), a ping-pong table, a grill and a fishing spot right by the lake for guests who want to try their luck without getting into a boat.

About the Delta in general, Cristi's opinion was clear and repeated several times throughout the vlog: he calls it "Romania's treasure", still under-explored for tourism — reason enough, he says, to come back.
