Nicknamed the 'wolf of the marshes', pike is an insatiable fish, which is why it can reach large sizes, sometimes weighing over 12 kg. Pike are among the most coveted trophies in any angler's photo collection. At Holbina, pike are big, so we recommend a stronger rod. When it comes to bait, pike are attracted to large plugs, soft plastic lures or spoons. The lure is chosen according to the size of the fish: the bigger the pike, the bigger the bait. Pike fishing requires a lot of technique and experience, which develops over time.
